Being a volunteer-led organisation we have struggled with organisational development. Lambeth Hubs have been able to fill gaps in our capacity. Working with them has given us 6 months of progress in a matter of weeks!
The Lambeth Hubs Mentoring programme came at the right time for us. It has been delivered at a manageable pace and been specific to our needs. Helping to take away the overwhelm of these tasks that needed doing, having the in-person visits has been key.
The Lambeth Community Hubs Network provides capacity building support to other Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations within Lambeth, sharing high-quality practical resources, advice and support.
Support is tailored to the needs of each individual organisation, is provided on a one-to-one basis and is free of charge. Throughout the capacity building period local VCS organisations can expect to receive specialist support from one or more of the Lambeth Hubs Partners depending on their individual requirements.
We generally provide support over a period of 6 months. Some of the areas in which we can help increase capacity include support to develop your polices and procedures around safeguarding, data protection and financial management and practical support around running and managing community buildings. This list is not exhaustive, please contact us if there are other areas of support you need.
